MERCURY Zenith offers a complete solution for new builds, renovations, bathrooms and extensions up to 120W/m2 on flammable material and 200W/m2 on concrete. Insulation is recommended to reduce downward heat loss and maximise efficiency.

Installation is typically on top of screed or timber, followed by a flexible levelling compound that is applied over the electric mat or cables prior to laying the final floor finish. Heat is distributed from flexible heating cables laid in loops over designated floor areas and provides an even output throughout the area.

The Inscreed cable system is an electric underfloor heating cable that is ideal for installing within screeded subfloor in new build projects and where floor height is not an issue.

Inscreed cable has a slower heat-up and cool-down time which makes it suitable for rooms which are in constant use and compatible with almost any flooring finish, or where the flooring (wood, carpet, vinyl) may be replaced from time to time.

DCM PRO is the ideal system for both new build and retrofitted applications and is specifically designed for use with tiled floor finishes. The system features a heating cable and an accompanying membrane which the cable is fitted in to. The membrane acts as a decoupling layer which can help prevent damage to the floor finish caused by subfloor movement.

Installation is significantly reduced thanks to the self-adhesive on the underside of the mat that attaches directly to the subfloor. Although best used with a tile floor covering, a self levelling compound can be used allowing it to heat and protect any floor covering material that is certified for use with underfloor heating.

Achieve fast installation with an electric underfloor heating mat and cable system with pressure-sensitive adhesive. Ideal for retrofit applications or where the floor height can’t be raised, the StickyMat system features an ultra-thin 1.8mm wire and two different power variants, 150W/m2 and 200W/m2, making the system ideal for use as a primary heat source in rooms with high heat-loss such as conservatories.

Snow melting cables protect against snow and ice build-up over both concrete and asphalt surfaces to improve accessibility and avoid accidents. Whenever the system detects snowfall or ice forming, it automatically activates to prevent the build-up and deactivates again once it has been cleared to minimise energy usage. Systems can be designed to provide protection at temperatures down to -20°c by spacing the cables closer together during installation.

WE’RE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY

Similar to warm water systems, it’s important that the floor has been prepared and insulated. Installation of electric mats is typically on top of a concrete or timber floor with a flexible self-levelling compound applied over the electric mat, ready for your chosen floor finish.

The benefit of installing in screed cables within a liquid or traditional screed is being able to provide heating to the largest areas.

Don’t worry, we wouldn’t expect you to do this by yourself, our team can design your system, recommend and supply you with all the materials required for a successful install.

Please note, you will need a qualified electrician to connect your system on completion of install.

Comfort

Comfort

Electric underfloor heating distributes heat radiantly creating an even output throughout the area. Ensuring increased comfort and energy savings with no restriction in floor covering choice.

Control

Control

Each area can be thermostatically controlled to give the right amount of heat exactly where you want it and linked to smart control systems. Homes of the future feature smart home technology so now you can simply adjust your heat settings via a phone or tablet.

The Cost

The Cost

Running costs will vary depending on a number of variables based on insulation, heat loss, running temperatures and floor finish resistance. A bespoke designed system can offer savings against conventional heating systems.

Projects

Typically used in smaller areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories, our electric systems are versatile and offer a low-profile option to save on floor height. Combine with the latest controls and you can have a cost effective system that offers you the same impressive outputs as a traditional wet system.

UFHN have been supplying Evergreen with our underfloor heating materials, heat pumps and cylinders for a couple of years now. The level of service and technical backup is second to none.
